Renting a boat in Kyrkjebø: the middle Sognefjord
Kyrkjebø is a small village on the north shore of the Sognefjord, about 13 km south-west of Høyanger, between the fjord arms of Vadheimsfjorden and Høyangsfjorden. Kyrkjebø church stands here, and from 1858 to 1964 the village was the centre of its own municipality before it became part of Høyanger.
A 19 ft boat with a 50 hp engine and an echo sounder is based here, in an easily reached berth in the boat harbour. Its owner sees it above all as a boat for recreational fishing, with room for up to six.
