Kaupanger and its bay on the Sognefjord
Kaupanger is a village and harbour in Sogndal municipality, set in a bay on the inner Sognefjord. Listed here are a small cabin boat for five and a little open boat with oars that, according to its owner, anyone may drive. The other boats on the page are in Sogndal and at Solvorn.

Watch the quay at Amla, in the bay. It was the ferry berth for the Kaupanger–Fodnes crossing until the Mannheller terminal took over in 1995, and tourist ferries on the Sognefjord still use it in summer.
