Granli and the lake Sigernessjøen
Granli is a rural district in Kongsvinger, in Innlandet. A small open boat for this area lies a few kilometres to the south, at the southern end of Sigernessjøen, a 2.1 km² lake about 8 km south of Kongsvinger town centre, beside national road 2 towards Eidskog.
Sigernessjøen is a popular place to swim, with two campsites close by, and motorboats are allowed on the lake. The boat is a 14 ft open boat with a 25 hp outboard, electric start and a self-bailing hull, and it carries oars. The owner has life jackets in a few sizes, so check that there is one for everyone on board before you set off. According to the owner, it is a good boat for fishing or simply pottering about on the lake.
