The boats here take up to 10 people.
Do I need a boat licence in Croatia?
Yes. In Croatia you need a recognised boat licence, such as an ICC valid for coastal waters, to drive any rented motorboat or skipper a bareboat yacht, and bareboat charter also needs a VHF radio certificate (SRC). With a skipper or a crewed yacht you need no licence. Read our full licence guide.

Renting a boat in Tučepi: a sailing yacht in Marina Tučepi
Tučepi lies on the Makarska Riviera about 5 km south-east of Makarska, at the foot of Biokovo. Until the earthquake of 1962 most people lived in hamlets higher up the mountain, and the village has since spread along the shore into a resort some 4 km long.
The sailing yacht listed here is based at Marina Tučepi in the village centre and chartered by the week. The marina has 25 commercial berths for yachts, fitted with water and power, next to 125 berths for local boats, and the 4 km pebble beach starts right beside it. Split airport is about 80 km away.
One practical point: the marina lists the nearest fuel for yachts at the port of Makarska, so plan to fill up there. The Split, Hvar and Brač sailing week names Tučepi as an alternative overnight stop to Makarska on the way back from Brač.
