Renting a motor yacht in Makarska

The boats listed for Makarska are motor yachts of about 11 to 16 m, all berthed in Makarska's town harbour and chartered bareboat by the week, Saturday to Saturday. They take eight to twelve guests, and the skipper needs a valid licence.

Makarska lies in a horseshoe-shaped bay between the Biokovo mountains and the sea, at the centre of the Makarska Riviera, which runs about 60 km from Brela to Gradac. Biokovo, rising straight behind the town, has been a nature park since 1981. Across the channel lies Brač, and the car ferry from Makarska to Sumartin on Brač takes about an hour. Our 7-day loop from Split spends a night in Makarska's harbour on the way back from Brač.

Makarska is also the ferry port for Sumartin, so give the ferry room when it arrives or leaves.
