Renting a boat in Svartskog: a RIB on the Bunnefjord

Svartskog is the thinly populated western part of former Oppegård, now Nordre Follo, between the lake Gjersjøen and Bunnefjorden. Large parts of it were protected in 2008 as Svartskog landscape protection area and Delingsdalen nature reserve.

The boat listed here lies at the northern end of Svartskog, at Ljansbruket, just short of the Oslo boundary, with the small beach of Bestemorstranda nearby. It is a modern RIB with large sunbathing areas and a chartplotter, rebuilt with an open exhaust, so it is loud. The owner asks you to introduce yourself and say what you plan to use the boat for, and to fill up before you return; there is a fuel station in the harbour.

The bathing islands of Langøyene are about 5 km away, with docks on both sides; our guide to public docks in the Oslofjord lists more places to land.
