Renting a boat in Spydeberg: a trailer boat, not a lake berth
Spydeberg, part of Indre Østfold since 2020, is a long, narrow rural district along the west bank of the Glomma, about 50 km south-east of Oslo. It has no coast, and no boat is kept on the water here.
Listed here is an open console boat with a 90 hp outboard, a chart plotter, a canopy and seats for six. It stands on a trailer in Båstad, roughly 16 km north-east of Spydeberg in a straight line. Pickup and return are at the owner's address, where a deposit is paid and then refunded when the boat comes back undamaged. You tow it to the launch site yourself.
Spydeberg's own large lake is not an option for it. Lyseren, shared with Enebakk, supplies drinking water to much of Spydeberg, and a local regulation has banned boats with combustion engines on the Spydeberg part of the lake since 1 January 2026. Electric motors of up to 7.5 kW are still allowed there, and water scooters are banned.
