Nydri is on the east coast of Lefkada, and every handover for these boats happens around its bay. Most lie in Nydri's town harbour; a second group of sailing yachts and catamarans is based elsewhere in Nydri, and the listing says which. Rentals are by the week.
The first day's route is visible from the quay. Madouri, about 700 m offshore, is a wooded private island. Beyond it lie Skorpios, bought by Onassis in 1963 and still private with restricted access, and its neighbour Sparti. Vlicho, a deep, enclosed bay beside Nydri, gives shelter in all conditions, though its water is less clear than outside.
Across the channel, Meganisi is the island most crews visit first. Vathy and Spartochori are its ports with car ferries to Lefkada, Atheni Bay is a fishing harbour, and Katomeri is the main village.
Give yourself a morning ashore as well: the Dimosari gorge trailhead is about 4 km from Nydri, and an easy 20–30 minute walk leads to a 12 m waterfall with a natural pool.
