Nordre Frogn is the northern part of Frogn municipality, away from the town of Drøbak. Frogn borders Nesodden to the north and Ås to the east, and lies between the Oslofjord on its west side and the Bunnefjord on its east; the innermost end of the Bunnefjord, called Bunnebotn, is split between Frogn and Ås. The fjord's old saga name, Skjáldr, may survive in the Frogn farm name Skjellerud.
Most boats on this page are kept outside the area. The nearest are at Fagerstrand, just over the border on Nesodden, and in Drøbak, where a bowrider is listed under Frogn; further away there are boats on the Asker side at Slemmestad, Vettre, Nesøya and Sætre, and a RIB at Svartskog.
Frogn keeps a slow zone along its coast: within 150 m of land, islets and skerries that show above the water, the limit is 5 knots.
