Frogn beyond Drøbak: Håøya and Hallangspollen
Frogn is Drøbak's municipality, with the main Oslofjord to the west and the Bunnefjord to the east. The boats on this page are the same selection as in Drøbak: a few in and around the town, and the rest across the fjord in Asker, Slemmestad, Fagerstrand, Svelvik and Sætre.
Away from the town, the islands are the reason to go out. Håøya is the largest island in the inner Oslofjord, 5.2 km² and rising to 230 m. Most of it is owned by Oslo municipality and kept open to the public, and camping is allowed. Small boats use Sagbukta on its east side and Tåjebukta and Dragsundet on the west. Aspond, Lågøya and Søndre Langåra are smaller islands in the municipality. Our Oslofjord swimming spots by boat include Håøya's bays. North-east of Drøbak, the narrow fjord arm of Hallangspollen runs about 3–3.5 km in from Gylteholmen to a small-boat harbour at its head.
Frogn allows 25 knots only in a few marked areas outside the 150 m shore zone, for example north of Nordre Håøya and in the Bunnefjord.
