Renting a motor yacht in El Arenal, Mallorca
El Arenal, or s'Arenal, sits at the south-eastern end of the Bay of Palma and is split between the municipalities of Palma and Llucmajor, about 15 km from Palma and 7 km from the airport. A former fishing village, it now lines a wide sandy beach.
A 43 ft flybridge motor yacht for six, with two cabins, is based at the Club Nàutic S'Arenal and chartered bareboat by the week.
South of the club, the Llucmajor coast runs past Cala Blava towards Cap Blanc at the mouth of the bay. Our Mallorca sailing week rounds Cap Blanc on the way along the south coast to Colònia de Sant Jordi and the Cabrera national park, where you spend the night on a buoy that has to be booked before you sail. Along the way, the Es Trenc protected beach and dune coast asks you to anchor on sand, never on seagrass.
