The yachts listed here are large sailing yachts based at Marina Cala d'Or, in the large bay of Cala Llonga on Mallorca's south-east coast. The resort is spread over three headlands, with Cala Egos to the west and Cala Ferrera to the east. Smaller coves such as Cala Esmeralda and Cala Gran lie between them. Palma is about 60 km away by road.
A short sail south-west brings you to the village of Portopetro and then to Mondragó Natural Park, about 5 km away, with its beaches at S'Amarador and Ses Fonts de n'Alís. Our Mallorca itinerary finishes a week at Cala d'Or, coming up from Cabrera and Cala Figuera.
Practical points: the marina listens on VHF channel 9 around the clock, and anchoring inside the harbour is prohibited. Outside, anchoring is regulated to protect the posidonia seagrass.
