Chartering a yacht in Vinišće, west of Trogir

Vinišće is a village and small harbour about 12 km south-west of Trogir, in Marina, the westernmost municipality of Split-Dalmatia County. Fishing and tourism are its main trades, and the coast nearby is cut into inlets with sand and pebble beaches.

A sailing yacht with three cabins and two heads is based in Vinišće and chartered by the week.

Offshore lie the two Drvenik islands. Drvenik Veli, 1.8 km from the mainland and about 12 km², has a single village and the sand and pebble beach of Krknjaši. Smaller Drvenik Mali, to the west, has a well-indented coast and shallow water around it, so keep an eye on the depth sounder close in. Šolta and, after an open crossing, Vis are the usual next legs; our Trogir, Šolta and Vis itinerary plans the week.
