Renting a boat in Lerum: a day out on Lake Aspen
Lerum lies on the E20 and the Western Main Line about 20 km east of Gothenburg, and it is one of two communities on Lake Aspen; Jonsered, in Partille, is on the western side. The lake covers 4.66 km², is up to 29.5 m deep and drains into the Säveån at Jonsered.
The small motorboat listed here is offered with a skipper and lies at the municipal jetties in Aspen, close to the bathing beach. That beach is an EU bathing site with a long strip of sand, a stone pier with floating jetties and a separate diving tower. The owner suggests the boat for swimming trips and fishing, and points out that fishing in Aspen needs a fishing permit.
Before you set off, note that the Swedish Transport Agency has local rules for boat traffic on Aspen, covering how fast and where you may drive.
