Crewed motor yachts in Riposto
Riposto is a small seafront town on Sicily's Ionian coast, about 30 km north of Catania and almost joined to neighbouring Giarre. For centuries it was the trading port of Mascali, and its name comes from the Sicilian ripostu, a storeroom or cellar, after the wine from the surrounding vineyards that was stored and shipped from here. The boats on this page are crewed motor yachts based in Riposto.
The town's harbour holds the Porto dell'Etna, a marina of about 370 berths that is open all year, with 5 m of water and VHF channel 74. It describes itself as 6 nautical miles from Taormina and about 30 minutes by road from Catania's Fontanarossa airport.
Taormina, to the north, is the obvious first run along the coast.
