Renting a boat in Mölnbo: a trailer boat for lakes and archipelago
Mölnbo is a small village in Vårdinge parish, in Södertälje municipality, that grew up around its station on the Western Main Line. It has no harbour on the sea, and the boat listed here reflects that: a broad, stable open workboat that comes with its own trailer, so it can be launched on a lake or in the archipelago. For an extra fee the owner can also deliver it to a lake or ramp within Stockholm County and collect it afterwards. You get it with the tank full and return it the same way.
The large lake in Vårdinge is Sillen, a long, narrow lake of about 10 km² that reaches up towards Gnesta and drains south through the Trosaån to the sea. Its water is murky, but it is known for good fishing, especially for pike-perch in autumn.
