Chartering from Genoa's old port
Some of the sailing yachts on this page are berthed at Marina Porto Antico, in the middle of Genoa's old port and close to the Aquarium and the historic centre. The marina has 270 berths for boats of 10 to 75 m and works on VHF channel 74. Another, larger yacht is listed under Genoa itself. All are rented bareboat by the week.
Genoa is one of Italy's busiest ports, stretching more than 22 km along the coast, with ferries and cruise ships as well as cargo. Expect to share the harbour with large ships on the way out, and give them room.
East of the city, the Riviera di Levante begins. The first stop is usually Camogli, a fishing village on the Golfo Paradiso on the west side of the Portofino promontory, inside the Portofino marine protected area. Portofino and San Fruttuoso lie round the headland, and our Cinque Terre and Portofino sailing week continues from there to the Cinque Terre.
