Lomma on Lommabukten
Lomma lies on Lommabukten, a bay of the Öresund, about 10 km north of central Malmö and 10 km south-west of Lund. It grew at the mouth of the Höje å, once a trade route inland. A 22-foot day cruiser with a 150 hp engine is listed in Lomma for trips of a few hours; the owner can skipper and suggests Dragør, Copenhagen and Ven as places to stop. Further south the page shows sailing yachts at Limhamn and a snekke in Malmö.
According to Lommabuktens Seglarklubb, guest berths are at the guest harbour by the library at the inner end of the river, or on free green-marked berths. The limit is 3 knots in the harbour and for 100 m outside the pier. At the mouth of Lödde å, just to the north, anchoring is banned from 15 April to 15 July.
