Skippered day trips from Amalfi

Amalfi lies on the Gulf of Salerno at the mouth of a deep ravine below Monte Cerreto, 1,315 m high. Between 839 and about 1200 it was the capital of a maritime republic, and its sea code, the Amalfi tables, was used in ports far beyond the town.

The boat on this page is a fast day boat for up to ten passengers, rented with skipper and fuel included, for full days, sunset trips or transfers. The price can vary with the pick-up point and route.

Positano, the Li Galli islets and Capri all lie within about 25 nautical miles. Li Galli sit in a zone of the Punta Campanella marine reserve where anchoring is banned. Amalfi's own harbour keeps only a short quay for pleasure craft, 2 to 5.5 m deep. The reserve zones are explained in our week from Salerno to Positano and Capri.
