Manamansalo is the largest island in Lake Oulujärvi, 16.2 km long and 76 km² in area, and it lies between the Ärjänselkä and Niskanselkä basins so that it almost splits the lake in two. It belongs to Vaala and is reached by road from the north or by the Alassalmi ferry. The island is known for its long sandy beaches, and parts of it belong to the Oulujärvi hiking area and UNESCO's Global Geopark network.
The small open console boat listed here is collected from a jetty on the island for use on Oulujärvi. It has a chartplotter with echo sounder and an electric bow motor for creeping into shallow water.
