Cascais: the start of an offshore passage

Cascais is a town on the Estoril Coast in the Lisbon District of Portugal. Its marina lies in the bay between Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, and Cabo Espichel, and it has hosted America's Cup events.

The boat listed here is not a local rental. It is a large trimaran that takes guests on an offshore passage: from Cascais through the Strait of Gibraltar and along the Spanish coast to Palma de Mallorca, about 725 nautical miles and five days at sea, then about 280 nm across the Gulf of Lion to La Grande Motte in France. The plan is to pass Gibraltar in the evening to avoid the heavy commercial traffic there, and to leave the coast behind after Almería.

The listing gives departure dates for each leg, so check them before you send a request.
