Charter a catamaran in Croatia and sail the Dalmatian islands with room for the whole group: separate cabins in each hull, a large saloon and cockpit, and little heel under sail. Compare catamarans from every Croatian base on one page, bareboat or with a skipper.
Frequently asked questions
Where is the best place to charter a catamaran in Croatia?
Can I charter a catamaran in Croatia without a licence?
How much does a catamaran charter in Croatia cost?
Why a catamaran in Croatia?
A catamaran's shallow draft lets you anchor close to the beach in the bays of Hvar, Vis and the Kornati islands, and its stability makes it a good choice for families and crews new to sailing. With four to six cabins, a catamaran often costs less per person than two smaller yachts.
Where to start
Most catamarans in Croatia are based around Split – in Split itself, Kaštela and Seget Donji near Trogir – and at Sukošan near Zadar. For the south, start in Dubrovnik. See all boats for hire in Croatia for sailboats and motor yachts.
Licence and booking
For a bareboat catamaran charter the skipper needs a recognised licence such as the ICC, and someone on board needs a VHF radio certificate (SRC). Without them, choose a catamaran with a skipper. Catamarans are hired by the week, Saturday to Saturday; each listing shows the price and availability for your dates.
