How to do RIB Boat Maintenance

A RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) combines speed, safety, and fun – but to keep it in great shape, regular maintenance is key.

🧽 1. Cleaning

Use mild soap and water on the tubes. Avoid harsh chemicals. Apply UV protection to prevent fading.

⚙️ 2. Engine

Change oil and filters, and flush the engine with fresh water after use in saltwater.

🧴 3. Hull

Wash, polish, and apply antifouling paint if needed.

🛠️ 4. Air pressure

Check air chambers regularly. Low pressure can damage seams or affect stability.

🌊 5. Storage

Store dry, shaded, and with a bit of air inside the tubes to maintain shape.
